The The European Direct Contact Center (EDCC) is a support center ๐Ÿ’ for citizens of the European Union ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ.

EDCC is responsible for handling citizens' inquiries, requests, grievances and complaints. It facilitates this via multiple communication channels like telephone ๐Ÿ“ž, email ๐Ÿ“ง, web chat ๐Ÿ’ฌ and social media โžค.

Our objective is to fluidify and speed up the work of the people replying to citizens' questions.

This is done by analyzing each incoming message via:

  1. language detection ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ,
  2. language translation via EC Translation ๐ŸŽฏ,
  3. sentiment analysis ๐Ÿ˜,
  4. classification ๐Ÿ“ and
  5. answer suggestions ๐Ÿ’ก.

We are currently integrating more Question Answer (QA) technologies in order to help answering better to citizens questions, speed up response times and dramatically reduce costs. Up to now, we have crunch 435.190 messages and every incoming message is analyzed on the fly.
